Cico Consultant Engineers
Leading Engineering Firm Welcomes US Partnerships
Cico Consultant Engineers, founded by Ahmad Cheikha, has been helping to build a better Qatar since 1967. The award-winning company has offices in Doha and Beirut and specializes in architectural, structural, mechanical and electrical engineering design as well as project management and supervision. It has a stellar reputation for its design excellence, social responsibility and sustainability.
Cico has been responsible for many of Qatar’s highest-profile projects, including the National Theater, the headquarters of Qatar Petroleum and all the schools built in the country over the past decade. Cico is currently involved in projects for major corporations like Deutsche BanandVincias well as the government’s ambitious Qatar Rail initiative.
Explaining his company’s success story, Mr. Cheikha says, “It is our philosophy to accept only the highest level of projects and to work only with the best contractors. Our jobs are, for the most part, relatively small or medium-sized, but we are very, very professional. We rely on the quality of our work and on our network of high-caliber clients and contractors.” Cico has developed expertise in many areas and handles all its work in-house in order to ensure the best possible quality.
Integrity and high standards
Cico Consulting Engineers welcomes the chance to work with US partners. Mr. Cheikha says, “We are very proud of the creative detail of our work, and of our aesthetic integrity. All our work is original. In addition, we always enjoy learning from international consultants.”
Mr. Cheikha urges US investors to take a close look at Qatar. He points out, “Qatar’s education, research and sports activities are developing significantly and the local economy is diversifying rapidly beyond oil and gas. I am open to discussing opportunities with foreign investors. Cico can provide the expertise investors need, particularly for agriculture and solar-energy-related projects. Qatar has much more to offer than people think.”
